Kids Safety Day

Yesterday was beautiful for a change! It was Kids Day at the fairgrounds and Evan and Amelia both got a bicycle helmet, which was fitted by the fire department. It was a coincidence that they were doing this, because we just got the kids tricycles and needed to get them helmets.

The reason we went to Kids Day was to take Evan to see the firetrucks and firefighters. Amelia hasn't seemed to care about firetrucks and proved that to us yesterday. She didn't care about them at all and just wanted to eat her popcorn. I think you can hear her talk about her popcorn in one of the videos. Evan sat in every firetruck and didn't want to stop. He cried as we left.
