Evan loves space!

I'm sorry, I know he's mine and I'm biased, but how cute is he?!!

Moving Sucks

One week until the movers come and we are not prepared. I don't think we will be, I will just open the door and let them pack my piles of junk. These piles of junk keep following us around the country. When I open the boxes at our new house- surprise! There are the piles of junk just as I left them in our old place! I can pull one out and place it on the desk like we never left.

We still have no house to put the piles of junk. We are number 2 for a house on base, but no one is moving. We are going to have to stay in a hotel and take the first mostly non-crappy house we find. I can't think about it too much because I don't want to go nuts.

I am also battling it out with Tricare (military health insurance) to get Evan (and Amelia) into a good pediatrician. They won't do their job and call me back, so I took matters into my own hands and called the Monterey Pediatric Group to beg for a doctor to take Evan. They haven't called me back, yet... This also means that Evan and Amelia will most likely have different doctors. I may just wave the white flag and see the holistic doctor they want me to see.

Monterey is beautiful, sure, but if you have a child with special needs, this is not a location to go for the Navy. It is going to be difficult for me to have to deal with the lack of doctors. I will have to drive all the way to San Jose for the specialists. For John, and us, attending the Naval Postgraduate School is an amazing opportunity, though. How can you pass up a free graduate degree in a prestigious program? We will have an amazing future so I need to suck it up and just do it.
