Cream Puff Season

Well, we have been in Kenosha/Racine for almost a week and I'm glad we left early. We got out of the PNW heat and it's fair season in WI!!

So far we have it only one fair (oh, yes, there will be more) and the kids loved it. I loved the cheese curds, Evan loved the chickens, and Amelia loved the cream puffs. Here is a pic and a cream puff video for your enjoyment:

Amelia Videos

We are leaving for 3 weeks in Kenosha soon and I wanted to post some videos of Miss Amelia. Don't worry, I plan to post vacation stuff while we're gone.

It has been hard to get that "perfect video", so forget it, here's what I've got! You have to listen close on the Piggy video so you can hear her piggy noise (piggy sniffles).

See You Soon!!

I am not going to write something sappy like last time. He won't be gone for as long (still too long for me), and I've got a busy schedule!!

We are up to 4 times a week for therapy and preschool because we added pool therapy again. I am also busy getting things together to go back to Kenosha, WI for 2 weeks. I'm sure the whole "flying alone with 18 month old twins in the middle of the night" situation will warrant a nice blog post.

Anyway, here are pics of the USS Pennsylvania leaving yesterday morning. What a beautiful day for pictures it was. I know it's not baby related, but a few of my readers like my grandpa might enjoy seeing them. And by the way, I took a tour last week of the boat and it is NOT big inside despite being 512 ft long. Most of the sub is filled with unmentionables. What a bunch of metal in there!

BU-bble

I'm pretty sure this is the cutest thing you'll ever see ;)

Evan's favorite words are "circle" and "bubble". I should mention that the big boy you see is now over 20 lbs. Oh yeah, this momma knows fattening foods! The mean doctor lady gave me a sticker!

Vacay with Daddy

John came home for a visit late Monday night and spent every minute he could yesterday with the kids (he still had to work!). It was like he never left. They knew immediately who he was and have been clinging to him. Amelia batts her eyes at him and has him wrapped around her finger. And Evan loves the rough housing. We are so happy right now, it's insane. Every second counts, for he is leaving again soon. But we aren't going to mention that again until that happens...

Summertimes Two

Happy 4th! Today we had a great day at the beach. John was not able to make it home to be with us, but I was determined to get up early and go to the beach as planned. It's been sunny and hot here. One day it will start raining and not stop for 5 months, so we must take advantage! I drove up to my new favorite spot on the Straight of Juan de Fuca, which is the big waterway coming from the Pacific Ocean that empties into the Puget Sound. It is all crystal clear saltwater around here. This is one of the only beaches that has sand and not shells/rocks. We did see a starfish! Anyway, the pics are from today, except the couple with their hats on. I hope to post some of John with the kids when he gets back, but it could be 1, 2, 3 weeks, who knows!!
