Ingrid Update

At 4 months she was 11 lbs, 10 oz (3-5th percentile) and 24.5 inches (50th percentile), meaning she is long and skinny (say what?!). She is considered a "slow grower", but I'm not worried. She eats a lot! For awhile she has been acting like she wants to eat and the doc said to start giving her rice now if she'll take it. Of course she did and loved it, so now my life has gotten crazy. It is chaos here trying to take care of the other two while having to feed her on top of it all, especially with the therapy and school schedule. I mean, of course that is what the next step would be, I just wasn't prepared at all. I am finding a balance this week. Picture feeding a baby regular style, then....diaper change, getting kids up, potty, breakfast, diaper change, dressing kids, etc and out the door by 8:15am, wait- now you have to make rice cereal, shove it in a baby's face and clean her in addition. Diaper change, get her in her seat, get them in the car in their seats. All in an hour or so.

Ingrid is extremely active for 4 months. When I hold her she bucks like a cowgirl, she jumps in her jumperoo, log rolls across the living room, is commando scooting a little, and always has to face the world and watch everything. I don't know why I bought another baby wrap. How stupid can I be to waste money on a second one. I always wanted one because I would see these women out with their babies snuggled into them in the Moby wrap and think how nice would that be. Well, they don't work with a baby who has to look forward at everything. Maybe for when she's asleep? She doesn't do that when we are out. Too much to see. Amelia was like this, too. Yikes!

Here are the most recent 4 month photos/video. I see so many people in her face from different angles.
